Killer Beasts

I am feeling rather uneasy and depressed about this particular event. I am not sure who the beasts who commit these crimes are. The killing of someone like this is by no means justifiable.

Of course, let's not forget that senseless violence is apparently a universal trend. Look at this one too.

Both were innocent victims of this senseless war. One was a bit more famous so she received more publicity and out pour of sympathy and the other one was someone minding his own business. Both are the same and both crimes are unjustifiable.

I was very sad to hear the news of Margaret Hassan's murder. She was a truly beautiful human being who had dedicated her life to helping Iraqis. This has to be the greatest irony of the entire Iraq War fiasco! I hope that Iraqis who respected and appreciated her efforts in life will stand up and help to end this madness of the senseless slaughtering of innocents. As to the killing of the wounded Iraqi in the Mosque, it was also senseless. I have heard that this soldier was wounded the previous day and that he had seen some of his buddies killed by booby trapped bodies. This does not excuse what he did. However, I think that he just snapped amid the insanity around him. I suppose that a lot of Iraqis whose loved ones have been killed have snapped, as well, causing them to seek murderous retribution. Bush's hands are dripping red with the blood of so many innocents! He is the biggest criminal of all.

Btw, I discovered the update to your previous post and left a comment.

There is no excuse for both of these scenarios. The insurgents are pissed off as well that their country is on the verge of being plundered.

I can't agree with you more, Khodadad.

BTW, it was a pleasant surprise for me to find your new weblog and also run into familiar people. How did you, Jamak and David, find it here first?

Hooman, I have been Khodadad's reader for quite some time now. In fact, Khodadad was the first person kind enough to talk to me when I started to explore the Iranian English blogosphere.
