تنه به تنه بزرگان!

جای همگی خالی، امروز با چند نفر از بزرگان فرهنگ و ادب ايران (خيلی خيلی بزرگ هاش، جدا"!) رفتم ناهار و کلی کيف کردم. در ضمن غذا خوردن که همه گرم صحبت در مورد فلان نسخه خطی بودند و امثال اينها، يکدفعه فکر کردم که خيلی جالبه که وسط لس آنجلس نشستم بغل دست کسانی که از بچگی کارهاشون رو می خوندم و با مجلاتی که اداره می کردند و کتاب هايی که چاپ کرده اند و مقالاتی که نوشته اند، بزرگ شدم و اصلا" به تاريخ و زبان و ادبيات علاقمند شدم.

يکی شون به اندازه کل عمر پدر من در کار تحقيق و مطالعه بوده و اسمش به صورتی با بيشتر تحقيقات جدی و حسابی 50 سال گذشته ايران در زمينه ادبيات و تاريخ و ايرانشناسی گره خورده. اونيکی از بزرگترين استادان ادبيات فارسيه و دانشش از ادبيات کلاسيک و تاريخ اوايل دوره اسلامی ايران بی نظيره. سومی از بهترين استادان و مهمترين نظريه پردازان تاريخ ايران قبل از اسلامه. خلاصه، خيلی برای خودم کيف کردم که من يک الف بچه، نشستم و دارم کنار دست اينها چلوکباب می خورم و الکی و الکی به اندازه ده تا مقاله، به صورت شخصی که نصيب هرکسی نمی شه، ازشون چيز ياد می گيرم و وقتی هم پررو بازی درميارم و دو تا کلمه می گم، حرفم رو می شنوند و راهنماييم می کنند.
