اتفاقی

داشتم توی دانشگاه دنبال کتاب و مقاله برای تحقيقم می گشتم که به اين مقاله برخوردم. يک بررسی کتابه در سال 1912 در مورد کتاب «اختناق ايران» نوشته مرگان شوستر توی يک مجله امريکايی اونموقع چاپ شده. خيلی خيلی جالبه. حتما" بخونيدش.

بنده ترجمه نكردم! اين كتاب در ايران ترجمه و چاپ شده و اسمش هم خفقان ايران گذاشته شده. تقصير من نيست.

جسارتاً حالا که بحث بر سر عنوان است، در ترجمه‌اي که از قديم الايام در ايران منتشر شد عنوان کتاب "اختناق ايران" است. فکر مي‌کنم از بنگاه صفي‌عليشاه هم بود اگر خوب به خاطر داشته باشم. سعي مي‌کنم مشخصاتش را پيدا کنم و اينجا بنويسم. شايد اين خفقان ترجمه جديدي باشد اما اگر در کتب ديگر تاريخ (به فارسي)هم دقت کنيد، در پاورقي و ارجاعات و رفرانس، در اکثر کتب معتبر، "اختناق ايران" ذکر شده.
