Damage Control!

Bush signs $51.8 bln storm relief bill

Translation: we screwed up, we ignored calls for help, we appointed an imbicile to head the Federal emergency response body, but hey, no problem, we give some money, and all should be okay? Right?

Hi Khodadad, or should I call you "Shadow"? :)

If I started writing what I think about the hurricane and flood disaster response, I might crash your server! :) However, it seems to me that we are on the same page, as, I think, are all intelligent people of good conscience (that would exclude most of the Bush administration and large chunks of the U.S. House and Senate!). The incompetence shown in dealing with this disaster is just staggering! But, in the days since the hurricane struck, I have seen a lot of extraordinary acts of courage and kindness by individuals that do give me some faith in the future of humanity.

Please stop by my new post. It includes a segment that is right up your academic alley. :)

Everyone knew of his inability to run the country yet he got elected!!! He has the support of the silent majority supposedly!?? where are these voters then? everyone is complaining. He ain't got no fears this time as it is his last time running... Still a question how people saw him as the right choice again!
