Perso-English Blog-Tag
I had noticed this Blog-Tagging game that is going on in the English blogosphere for a while, but since my English weblog is not very popular and I seldom read English blogs myself, I never thought of picking it up.
However, these days a Persian version of it is going on in the Persian blogsphere and as such, I thought I start one myself. It is a simple game: I will tell you five things about myself that you might not have known, and then I nominate five people to do the same. Let's see how it goes:
1- I love reading gossip magazines like People and Entertainment Weekly
2- I fell in love with my fifth grade teacher pretty seriously!
3- When I was in middle school, I told everyone that one day I will become the Shah of Iran (that did not sit well with the assistant principal!)
4- I have an accute case of acrophobia
5- I slept with my best friend's sister
Now, I nominate Parastoo, Sanam, David, Hamid Reza, and Hossein.

1.) I was once addicted to the soap opera "Days of Our Lives". In general I like soap opera type shows with evolving characters and stories. "Dallas" was one of my all time favorite shows!
2.) When I was a kid, I used to style the hair of my sisters barbie dolls. I was a better stylist than she was! Hey, I played with G.I. Joes too. I once made a parachute for Joe. I enjoyed best the contorted crash landings when the chute failed to open! :)
3.) I was once a bit of a juvenile delinquent. When I was 15, I and some school friends threw a lot of eggs at the cars of certain school acquaintances late at night. Eventually we got caught and had to pay some restitution. Honestly, I really didn't have anything against those people. The behavior was just stupid and senseless, but that is what young men of that age are!
4.) I have some fear of long legged spiders, even of daddy longlegs, which are closely related to spiders, but totally harmless to humans. I am not afraid of short legged spiders at all, though. In fact, I love to play with jumping spiders, and I don't mind letting them walk around on my hands. I once even held a tarantula without any discomfort at all. I guess it is the leg length to body size ratio that makes me uncomfortable.
5.) When I was about 12 years old, I was the best teller of dirty joke stories in my whole school! I would hear a story and then add my own embellishments. My theatrical delivery was also very good, I think! ;)
