Tortoise
Not just for answering back, but also because of a genuine desire to open a healthy conversation about the Arab invasion of Sasanian Iran, I wrote two articles for the Iranian.com (this and this). I was really excited and very frankly happy that the person who wrote the original works had bothered to enquire about this issue. I personally believe that the Arab invasion of Iran is at the root of the inferiority complex from which most Iranians suffer. In any case, although I find the views expressed by the original author to be out-dated and potentially even more damaging to the aforementioned Iranian psyche, I was quite honest about my praise for his efforts.
Sadly, he has taken it all wrong, and worse yet, instead of choosing the same forum in which we had both written our essays to continue the debate, he has prefered to sit around and gossip about me and say unpleasant things. He has even taken it upon himself to make a slightly unpleasant remark about me and a very good friend of mine in another place where he publishes his many and frequent works. He called me a "young scientist-y" for which I am unduly flattered, seldom offended. Being young, methinks, should not be taken as a reason for dismissing what I say since if that was the case, the tortoise and the crow would have known better than all of us indeed!
Anyway, forget about the unpleasantries and read this farce about the Charlemagne that I wrote!

Hi Khodadad, sorry I've taken so long to comment. I've been somewhat under the weather for a while.
I am curious about "the tortoise and the crow". Is that some sort of allusion to an Iranian folkloric tale?
I read your article about the pre-Islamic Arab nomads. I completely agree that the lack of a sedentary lifestyle is no reason to assume that a culture is not very sophisticated. Indeed, I think it could be argued that a nomadic culture in a harsh desert environment may be far more complex than a farming culture in a temperate environment, in which life is, relatively speaking, much easier. Culture is a function of language and mutual interdependence. In a harsh environment, it is much more important for people to communicate and work together to survive.
I'll come back later and take a look at your other articles.

I enjoyed reading your farce about Charles the Great! :) I will definitely have to watch out for that especially virulent plague! ;) You have some talent for telling a story with humor. I hope you will do that again! :D
