I am learning how to work with Picasa so I can upload my photos easier and hopefully also faster. So far, 14 of them. Tell me how it is and I am also going to upload more soon...

Of these pictures, I am most interested in the "Avar" and the Rune Stone (looks a bit like a giant fertility goddess :) ). I'll bet the Viking village was fun! Did they have any historical re-enactors there? Good pics Khodadad! Keep 'em comming. :)

Yeah, the Avar vase was really interesting. Basically, it was a sloppy reproduction of the normal Sasanian "king in the hunt" motif.
The Rune stone looks like a giant fertility "goddess"? "god" maybe?!
No historical re-enactors, and the fun thing was that as soon as I got into the big hut, it started raining like mad, so I just camped in a Viking hut for half and hour!
